Dexin Bookstore Project

The design concept of Dexin Bookstore combines the distinctive culture of Hangzhou and the aesthetics of the Song Dynasty, aiming to create an online celebrity punch card bookstore integrating book sales, art trading and art co-creation activities. The design inspiration comes from the simplicity and beauty of Song Dynasty aesthetics, and pursues the expression of "freehand".

In the space design, we learned from the law of the Song Dynasty garden to create a multi-level sensory experience center by using the techniques of borrowing scenery, virtual and real, overlapping and pavilions.

The interior layout of the bookstore pays attention to the openness and fluidity of the space to adapt to the needs of different customer groups. Middle and high income families are the main customer group, they pay attention to quality education and quality of life, so in the design of the focus on providing comfortable and elegant reading and communication space. At the same time, the bookstore will also hold regular art co-creation activities to attract more art lovers and creators to participate.

Dexin Bookstore is not only a place to sell books and works of art, but also a humanistic space that integrates the characteristic culture of Hangzhou and the aesthetics of Song Dynasty. Through this design, we hope to provide customers with a pleasant reading and art experience, while inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and art.
